Leave them alone. I understand that you want to help them, but if their mother is there, she will protect them if needed. Interference at this time may cause her to leave completely. Just let nature take over. They will probably be ok. They have to live on the ground as fledgelings anyway, when they are learning to fly, and mom protects them then. Good luck.
