Hi, i'm thinking of adopting a main coon kitten, I have heard they can be big cats, How big can they get? I have a normal domestic cat and i would not like for her to feel intimidated in anyway, the maine coon i'm thinking of adopting is in need of a home and would love to give her one, the only thing holding me back is the size the maine coon may reach in adulthood, I would like to hear from maine coon owners please!

I'm not at all an extremely tidy or organized person but every night before I go to bed I have to kiss two teddies good night (they're sentimental I'm not a baby or anything lol) and tap the rest and every morning I have to roll onto my left side and pull myself up (or every time I'm lying down and have to get up) and if I'm by myself I have to run up the stairs. I just do this otherwise I think something bad will happen..... It isn't that bad I was just wondering..... When I woke up I was so scared to make a sound because I thought the white light was still in the room. Morning sickness with diabetes?

Transition from potty chair to adult toliet?

So my daughters got the potty training down good, except they only use the potty chair only, they afraid of toliet even thou i bought then the dora seat to put on top of toliet seat and it has handles. My daughters do well all day on potty chair. Their little under 2 and bit small and my toliet is little high. If a court ordered a spouse to pay the mortgage, the car payment, the utilitiy bills etc. for the other spouse during a long (20+ months) divorce proceeding, how can the spouse that is NOT paying the bills cover themself legally so the other spouse doesn't have the ability to claim these payments as alimony (temp. spousal maintainence, etc) which would cause the other to claim on tax return. What causes rotor damage? I was told they are not smooth and need to machined.?

There are several terms that you need to become familiar with. First is variations from parallel= this is the measurement of the rotor at different locations around the 360 degree cirference. allowable is .004 and larger variations will cause a pulsing pedal when the brakes are applied especially from a high speed. Next is lateral run out= this is the readings from the outside edge and moving toward the center, again .004 is the max allowable. This allows the new pad to make full contact with the rotor to give positive braking. Last is a warped rotor which is checked with a dial indicator= observed while the rotor is mounted in place and the dial indicator will show the difference in thickness when the rotor is turned while observing the dial indicator. The rotor can be turned if sufficient material remains, one problem is a shop in a hurry and miss mounts the rotor and cuts is out of round, when mounted and you try to stop, it will feel like warped rotors, even though they have been turned. Calipers seldom go bad but when they do, it will usually cause one side to wear prematurely. The one that wore out too soon is the good one, the one that did not wear was not working. When this happens, it is best to do both to be safe. Most common weakness in the brake system is the slides that will bind up due to lack of lubrication. I suspect this was the cause of your problem.

Brakes hot after short ride.?

I have a 96 suzuki bandit, I just replaced rear brake pads and rotor. I noticed that after a short ride, like a mile, the rear brakes get very hot even if I don't touch them. The old pads had one that was worn to the metal and one that had little wear, do I need to rebuild the caliper or is this perhaps normal, I never felt how hot the rotor was before. I think I was fooling myself into thinking that the caliper was alright, but now I'm doubting it's ok. Does the caliper need honed to be rebuilt or just replace the seals and that's good, I've never done a motorcycle caliper before and my manual is a little sketchy on this topic.

I believe I experienced implantation bleeding about two weeks ago (which would've put me at about 10DPO (maybe less) - if I'm correct on my calculations) and I've been feeling weird ever since. And as far as the "implantation bleeding" goes, it lasted less than one day, only once when I wiped. It was light pink in color and looked as though it was discharge. Then it stopped, I haven't had anything since. Well, I took a HPT 4 days ago and it came back negative (-) but I'm still having all of these pregnancy symptoms. I'm developing a headache as I type this! And the back pain has been consistent and won't go away. Is there a chance I may be pregnant? Did I test too early? My period was supposed to start yesterday but it hasn't come yet..

I'm REALLY scared that I'm going to have a heart attack. The pain is not very severe, but my left arm hurts too, and I've heard that that was a sign of a heart attack. This started a few days ago. I think i am being scammed?

Ok... so my family has been trying to sell an entertainment center on a local site. We got an email from someone saying that they are interested asking if its still for sale. We said it is and they said thank you and stuff like that. They said they would pay through a bank certified check and that we should take the ad off of the site to "avoid any disturbances" They said the check would arrive via UPS next say services so it would have come on a Monday. Shortly after telling us when it would arrive they said that the accountant made a mistake and that they sent too much money because they needed to send a separate check to the moving company but accidentally sent it all to us, and if we would gladly deduct our money and send the rest to the movers. I dont know why but we agreed. Since then it has been a week and two days and we still have seen no check and we didnt hear anything from the buyer either, before two days ago. They said the check would come yesterday, which it didnt, and then today we got another email stating that we need to send the extra money to Malaysia?? I dont even know what to do! they said the check would defiantly be arriving today, which i doubt, but if it does i dont want the money anymore, I just want to forget this ever happened and maybe sell it to a family friend or something. i would ask for an early intervention evaluation. your daughter may delayed as children who spend alot of time in the hospital often will get a slow start because of lack of stimulation. if it is found she is delayd, they can start her with physical therapy and occupational therapy in home or in an outpatient rehab center. Try not to worry too much because all babies do develop at their own pace. but for your own piece of mind i would ask your doc to have her evaluated by a developmental specialist, early intervention or even a neurologist. i have a special needs child who is delayed and it can be scary, but try to be proactive and keep asking for the evaluations until you get what you want. when she is evaluated by a professional and they say all is okay, then sit back and just enjoy watching your baby grow. good luck to you.

He kept up with me (a steady pace), in fact he wanted to go faster but I told him to slow down. He is big and energetic for his age but I worry at his age jogging might be dangerous for him? I will go again tomorrow on the same run and he said he want to come. I dont mind him coming but if it dangerous for him to do so at his age I wont have him come out with me. Im going to do this 3 times this week, 5 times next, every day the week after and then lengthen the distance as my endurance builds up. What do you think?

What type of engineering should I do?

I am trying to get into college for the fall of 2011 for engineering just not positive on what type. I have narrowed it down to mechanical, electrical, nuclear, and areospace. I would go for aerospace without a doubt because I love aviation except that I want to have my own business someday and anything aviation related takes a huge investment to get started in. Where as if I went mechanical I could start a business building custom cars or motorcycles or something similar with a lot smaller investment. I also have a huge interest in possibly getting into building some type of unmanned radio controlled vehicles like the military uses so I think electrical would be also be a good fit. Nuclear power has always interested me to some extent but a lot of people are against it, I think mainly because they dont understand it and believe false facts about it. Nuclear power may get big again someday but with everybody looking toward safe renewable energy it maybe dieing off. So what does everybody think. I am leaning toward mechanical, I think it is the least well paid of them all but I think it is the broadest field so I could work anywhere on just about anything. I thought about going for a double major but I heard keeping a PE license for one field is already challenging and time consuming enough. To my understanding if I wanted to work for myself a PE license would be a must have for me. I would love to work on both the electrical and mechanical aspects of different machines but it looks like that is more than one person should be trusted to do. I Know nobody can decide this for me, just looking for some outside opinions and ideas here. Thanks

Dont eat before gooing to bed. Some people look for magical meanings in everything that happens. That is cool I do the same. However there are some other external factors that can influance a dream. Food for one. If you have sleepapnia it messes with your sleep patern and your Rapid Eye Movement (REM) period of sleep is interrupted and can more interesting dreams. Medication can do it. So I would say this type of dream was either stress or sleep deprivation and maybe both.

My 3 year old chihuaha recently started snapping ?

My 3 year old chihuahua has recently started snapping at people. She has snapped at my nieces and mom when they tried to pick her up. Although she only snaps at me when I try to move her when she is asleep. Other wise she doesn't really snap at me unless she get a hold of a bone. I had a tet-diptheria-polio travel immunisation injection yesterday lunchtime in my left arm. That arm felt a little dead for the rest of the day, particularly during the night. I woke up with my arm still feeling quite dead, and with my left leg also feeling a little sore. I have just noticed (early evening, the day after the injection) that I have an enormous bruise with some swelling on my left calf. Indianapolis its a big city 2.5 million people in the metro area.Its the 12th biggest city in the US. It has a nice downtowen there building a new JW Marroit downtown It going to be the biggest in the midwest. It has plenty of sports teams. Wheat is like sugar is for us... in smaller amounts it isnt a huge deal unless a dog is allergic to it. As a main ingredient it is horrible. There are some treats out there that dont have wheat but you have to go to the specialty pet shops to get them.

I have had really bad heartburn throughout pregnancy I drink gaviscon advance and also take the tablets (I got them myself) which are better you can buy antacids over the counter and most are safe in pregnancy. I find renees tablets also work. Also the stated dose is rubbish, the only way to get some effect is to swig it from the bottle. Its perfectly harmless as long as you dont overdo it.

Today, my Dr said he thought he saw a polyp in a sonogram I had before having an IUI in late July. He said I would have to come in later for another sonogram to be sure because sometimes they 'come & go'. He also said that if I did have a polyp he would have to perform a D&C to get rid of it. You have really gotten some bad answers here. It seems the anti home school trolls are out in force today. One thing you will want to do is see what the laws in your state are. Contact the home school legal defense ociation. You never want to contact the school board or school district, as they usually don't have accurate information and will often intentionally mislead you to keep your children in the system. You can either purchase a curriculum or make your own. Many public libraries will have the text books for the local school system. It can cost as much or as little as you choose to spend. The good news is for the younger grades you cost is much less. As far as the "socialization" unless you plan on locking the kids in a closet or chaining them to a table why would they have no friends? Home school takes far less time than traditional school, so you will have much more time to pursue social activities. Also traditional school does not really offer real world socialization, it is forced and artificial. In real life do you only socialize with 25 other people your own age who live in your neighborhood? Probably not. Is it easy to home school? NO!! It is a big commitment and one that you have to follow through with to be successful. Do you need to be a "certified" teacher to home school? Again no. Do you know that all a teaching degree is is a degree in crowd control? Home school kids usually do much better both academically and socially, and kids who are home schooled in high school have a much better chance of getting into the college of their choice as many colleges actively seek home school students over public school students. I am standing on a log in a pit of fire. I am petrified, but I manage to jump to safety. All around me people are falling into the fire (which is like lava). It is gruesome and horrible. My friend always says she's sick. She does it for attention. She's insecure. She ditches me for other people and only wants to do things when it's convenient for her. I do know that red peper will keep ants from coming in your home, however, i guess if you tried in on your whole lawn that would just drive them to the neighbors. But if you found a way to aculate them like others had suggested, then you could treat your lawn with a water mixture with red pepper (cayane pepper) and it and spread it over your lawn. Children unfit living conditions with non custodial partent?

I have custody of my three children(Michigan) and I take my children to my ex's every other weekend. She has two dogs and 3 cats the house smells so bad it could gagg you. I have seen dog fecies on the floor and smells like the animals urinate on the floor as well, the house is always a mess and my children have no bed to sleep in. I have asked my ex to furnish beds for them but says she doesnt have the funds for it. One of my children is a boy the other is a girl. 8 month old kitten question who is very sick... Labs done, bad liver and kidney values and now heart worm...?

I adopted my kitten 6 months ago from the Humane Society. He was 2 months old. After I brought him home, he got sick. He was diagnosed with . He was put on medication daily and another med every other week. He Has had all his shots since and is an indoor kitty. He does eat inappropriate things that I have to watch out for, ie..kleenex, toilet paper, cardboard, carpet fibers, etc.. He has vomited on some days so bad and so much, even bile, wound up $200 later, that he was constipated and put on a laxitive. More symptoms a month later, I brought him back to the vet, $700 later, more x-rays, blood work and urinalysis, with a free pedicure for the back claws, he has bad liver and kidney values and they want to do exploratory surgery. Blood work sent out and told today he has or had heart worms. I do not have the money for surgery. I am going to get a 2nd opinion also. What do you know about heart worms and cats survival and does it have to do with his other organs?

Is a 7/8 weight fly rod and reel appropriate for what I am using it for?

I have been fly fishing for a little over a year now, and I bought a scientific anglers b rod and reel. It is a 7/8 weight reel and rod. I use it on the main branch and the north branch of the ausable river in the northern part of the lower peninsula of michigan for trout fishing. I use the normal flies for that area, and normally only fish between dawn and dusk. I have been catching small to medium sized fish, and the rod casts well, and it is alright for handling fish that I am catching. I was wondering if I should buy a new rod and reel combo, with a lower weight when I can afford one (I am wanting to learn how to tie flies, and I was saving for a kit), but I am only 15, and I just started fishing. Should I get a lower weight rod, or wait?

Usually they give enough formula per month that you only have to by a couple cans a month. Should I learn embly?

Hey I've been teaching myself programming. Started with Basic which really sucks to be honest moved on to C now and about halfway through the book I'm using. I can also make html pages, use python to make programs similiar to the ones I make in C. Should I learn embly or is it too soon for that? I wanna learn embly because it is so difficult that any HLL would seem easy if I master ASM and I wanna learn how to write good efficient code. I am 19 years old and I suffer with both dyslexia and dyspraxia. I have worked with dogs all my life and I have seen and researched the differences on owning a dog has on a child or adult with dyspraxia. Dyspraxia means you have difficultys in moving communication and self esteem etc. But owning a dog increases a persons self esteem making them want to do well and learn and endure new challenges. Do you think people could benefit from a charity called dogs for the dyspraxic where we can train dogs to be well behaved and calm (any breeds) and then give families that have a child clinically diagnosed with dyspraxia (they would have to make a donation) and with there dog they can take him or her everywhere with them. How should I get in the habit of using downstrokes instead of upstrokes?

My guitar book says that I should be using downstrokes at this stage (I've only been learning for a week), but I find myself using upstrokes almost all the time. Unless I consciously tell myself before a practice song to use downstrokes, I ALWAYS end up using upstrokes. What should I do?
