Does he still like me?

my ex bf mom and my mom are good friends and i go to a vocational school to take my cles and i saw my ex today and he said that he heard from his mom that i was taking my cles at the vocational school so he got his schedule changed to come here all day to and every time he sees me he always says hi and he smiles at me do yall think he still likes me or is he just being nice because we have known each other for so long. oh and im the one who broke up with him.
