Have you ever had a dream where?

Yes, I have had dreams were I am so scared that I wake up and I am still scared. So, scared that I don't want to move or even breath. I had a dream were there was this white light in my face and it was trying to get inside of me. It was gripped on to me so tight and I was trying to scream and no sound would come out.It was so bright and white. I was terrified. When I woke up I was so scared to make a sound because I thought the white light was still in the room. I have also had dreams were I am dreaming I lost a limb but when I wake up I found that my arm or leg were numb. I understand were you are coming from. You should try to write your dreams down on a dream log or something, Hope this helps.
