Wanted for Travel: Cool Active Fun Country (& cheap).?

I want to travel to a cool, fun, active country where there's at least 3 fairly awesome things to do besides sight-see. For example, Nepal. Nepal has: 1) Awesome trekking; 2) Great Kayaking/rafting (courses) and 3) Kopan Monastery (Buddhism courses). And Nepal is cheap. Any suggestions ?
