Ants have takenover my lawn. Two treatments haven't worked. How do i get rid of them?

I do know that red peper will keep ants from coming in your home, however, i guess if you tried in on your whole lawn that would just drive them to the neighbors. But if you found a way to aculate them like others had suggested, then you could treat your lawn with a water mixture with red pepper (cayane pepper) and it and spread it over your lawn. Then the ants should be driven out of the lawn and to your designated area and then you could kill them with a chemical.
