I was out walking and found a pilgrims bracelet...?

which has been dated to the 10/11th century, there are 8 links which appear to be chess pieces and it's made of an unknown metal. It was found along the pilgrims walk from Muchelney Abbey in Somerset, England and i believe it would have considerable historic value... anyone know how i can get it valued?
