What do i do if my brother is very physical?

Im 12 and hes 13 turning 14 soon and he is very physical and always beats up on me.Im not in good physical condition (im not fat just not sporty or anything) Like today i was playing a game on my laptop and watching a video he wanted to watch so he took it and put it between us. I didn't want him to so i tried to scoot it back on my lap he wouldnt let me so i just turned it off. Then i picked it up and sat down somewhere else. He thought i was done with it for the whole day but when i turned it back on ( He happened to be holding the cat) he threw the cat on me! Then ran up to me and started hitting me continuosly on the head. Then when i told my mom they started to argue and he started swearing at her (not the first) There are many other stories, punching mom (wow, i know) ,throwing me at the wall, choking me, etc hes gone to a counselor but that didnt do much at all so i have no idea what to do PLEASE HELP
