Would Portland be a great place for a baseball franchise?

It sounds crazy obviously and NO I do not live in Portland or Oregon. It's just from April til october whether is amazing. It's been one of the best emerging cities in the last 10 years. Portland is a city that does enjoy sports. The Sea Dogs have no problem filling seats and either do the portland trail blazers. I just think that adding another west coast team to MLB could help expand the game. The mariners having a rival also couldn't hurt fan base in Seattle.
